Record Release 03.02.2000

if one of these bottles should happen to fall -- jersey songs by tris mc call* is officially (tris is the official, incidentally) out & available. pass it on! to get your copy, just send five buckeroos to cover postage and handling to:

hilary jane englert
1014 palisade avenue
union city, nj 07087

then she and tris will get a copy in the mail to you before you can sing the entire children's/drinking song that gave the album its title. tris also plans to make it *bottles* at tunes and some of the other north jersey record stores, but why not bypass the hassle?

a note from tris to all his pals:

"about *bottles*: it may surprise you. though it was produced by the mighty scott miller, it doesn't sound like a game theory/loud family album. it's a little more rough and more raw than i've ever been, but i felt it would be irresponsible to represent new jersey with anything too slick or synthesized. if you've followed my music over the last few years, you'll probably recognize some of the songs from shows, though you might not recognize the arrangements. what i *can* say with certainty is that, for the first time (thanks to the many artists and musicians who lent their time, talents and faith to the project) i was able to make the album i wanted to make; the one i heard in my head. it's certainly conceptual, but it's also very immediate, and i hope you find it entertaining as well.
tris will be doing two great big shows in the near future -- one in new york, and one in new jersey -- dates to be determined, so keep april and may free of all other commitments. cancel weddings, postpone vacations, give yourself over to tris's megalomaniacal agenda. you'll be glad you did!
