To: BMWMC mailing list Subject: BMW: Manuals available Reply-To: Mark Gensman I contacted Craig and Hansens BMW in Medford, Oregon and he can get Clymer manuals with newer bike updates for $26.00. I am going to order the factory repair manual for my K for $106.00. After my last service bill (we beat that to death so don't ask) I figure the manual will save me at least as much in service costs as my Valentine V-1 has saved me in tickets. From BMW, or where? That's amazing! > > Oh, maybe you mean $20 *each*. So you need a set of 10 or > something :-) I don't have the receipt in front of me, and it was two years ago, but I remember $20-$22. I got a set of 3, that listed paint cans, oil, all the rubber washers, pistons, crank bearings, everything! In exploded detail. With the serial numbers where parts changed even! Yup, from a dealer. This is one pleasant surprise in BMW land. Cheap and worth it. > I knew I shouldn'ta chucked that microfiche reader... :-) Luckily, I live two blocks from the library :-) - Bryan
