It is real good for you. I have it on the WC bike. One thing. I am thinking of reversing the switch. Easier to push down away from you, than close to the tank bag. I used zip coard to extend the shorting leads to the switch. It is not too critical. ************************************************************************* * Fools you are.... to say you learn by your experience.... The socket lives on the left side of the bike behind the tube that comes down to the trans mounting point from the rear of the tank. It comes out of the wiring harness. It is a small plastic cylinder. This is the main wiring harness that follows behind the frame tube, and ends up at the FI computer. >Then what does *that* plug into? :-) (Which, I would guess, is >what to connect the switch to.) The switch is connected to the shorting plug that your by. Snip the short open and connect the switch to the wires. Insert plug in harness socket, route wires, mount switch. This make more sense? I got confused. I have explained this to a number of people. >p.s. What are these param and color tags that you have here? > >|

They are the fancy signiture stuff from Eurda 3.0. This is from the 2.2 version. And I got rid of the fancy stuff from E 3.0 as most cannot see it, and only see the parameters as you have noted. ************************************************************************* * Fools you are.... to say you learn by your experience.... Yes, you have the location for it. I think there is something in the manual. I found it on the electrical diagram. On the K75 diagram, it is item number 72 and is close to the airflow meter and teh injector symbols. It is dotted. Its not part of the bike tool kit. It can be purchased as an accessory. ~$8.00 The place it is connected is on the left side of the bike behind the down tube. (After the throttle bodies.) It is a plastic cap that comes out of the electrical harness that lives behind the down tube. You take the cap off and put on the plug which is a shorting plug. It leans out the mixture at high altitude. It crispens up the engine response. It enhances fuel mileage. On the WC it is good to have it as a switched unit as you go up and down on alot. On the EC, there is not much use for it. ************************************************************************* * Fools you are.... to say you learn by your experience....
